I am so happy and excited today!! I just finished my second 5km run and I finished it in 28 minutes which is my best time ever. (I usually do 32 minutes.) last year I did my first 5k and finished in 40 minutes because I walked in the middle. But this time I just walked a really short bit maybe 100-200m and the rest was running.
I am so proud of myself because I’ve worked hard to reach my current fitness level. I am not an athelete person, I fact I’ve always sucked at sports in my P.E classes, but this is proove that if you work hard you can achieve anything you want.

people aren’t just born good at something, they have to work to succeed

Despite my success this year I am far from done, I will train this year for another 5km and then maybe try a 10 km (depending if I will travel in the summer or not)

Things To Do When Feeling Down: Volunteer



I’ve mentioned before doing good deeds for other people to help you feel better, volunteering is an excellent example of this. We really need more people to volunteer and help poor and less fortunate people. By volunteering you are helping others; seeing their smiles is in itself rewarding and can make you forget about all your troubles and sadness.

Here are a few of the benefits of volunteering:

  • Increases self-esteem.
  • Reduces depression and stress.
  • Increase your social skills.
  • Teach you team work.
  • Develop new skills.
  • Help you choose a career by exploring different jobs.
  • Helps the economy.
  • Makes you happy.
  • Make a difference in the world.
  • Makes you healthier. (There has been research to state that it can reduce risks of heart attacks by reducing stress. It also improves mood and strengthens immune system.)

If you are good in some kind of skill that can help others volunteer to do it, and if you don’t have much skill, you can still help by aiding other volunteers.

If you can’t volunteer you can still help by donating money. Also I was surprised to find that there you can find online volunteering. (Google it to find lots of organizations that are looking for volunteers.)




You all know that I’ve been worried about the SAT since I started studying a month ago, and on October 15 I did the psat. So now I come home from school check tumblr and everywhere is taking about the psat and this psat fandom?!

Like is’nt this violation to the only rule that the psat has; to not share the psat materials with anyone?!

Hhh… I guess I’ll just go back to laughing at these inside jokes that only a 2014 psat taker understands till I get my results in December.
